Last night was a great night. I attended the Target Canada fashion show during the World MasterCard Fashion Show Week and it was everything expected and even beyond. As a guest designer, I really appreciated being taken in charge and make my way through the line-up easier. Then, once I got seated there was a big gift bag waiting for me, with all kind of products and coupons to shop at Target. Not even a few minutes later, the show was on. What I liked about how the show started was the musician who magnificently played accordion with a very old French song going on in the background and all that with black and white pictures of Paris passing by the big screens.
The first models to rock the stage were your typical average model but what I really enjoyed was the fact that it was the most realistic runway I have ever seen, since there was model of all size, type and age. The cutest moment, and I think the audience shared the same opinion, judged by the random of applause, was when the first child model girl entered the scene. She was just too adorable with her big hair and the confidence she had walking the runway.
I think it was very important to underline the fact that Target did really focus on their customers, who comes to shop in their stores and by using a good representative of the population that shop at Target made us feel so close to the show. In almost every looks I could picture myself wearing it. As if it could not get any better, we were all blown away with a boom spreading golden showers on us. That was very fun and unexpected at all. As every good things come to an end, the show brought back all the models that rocked the show to have one last time a closer look of the beautiful variety of Target typical customer. Before leaving the fashion show I had to stop some pictures in the different booth and grab some drinks brought to us. Check out some of the few videos of the 360 video booth:
